Sunny Hiking Partner

The sun was my companion on this 12.2 mile hike today. With the sun and no clouds, I headed for a spot that I knew would give me a shot of...Mount Rainier.




Also along for the hike was my newest piece of gear, the Ka-Bar Becker Necker knife and kit.

I say kit because I added a Ranger band to the sheath - and tucked under the band various essentials for a limited survival situation.

I got the idea from Colhane and his YouTube video Neck Knife Kit. I'll post his video as a favorite on my Wawhiker YouTube channel.

I'm very pleased with the outstanding quality and design of my Ka-Bar Becker Necker. It's a great addition to my must carry hiking gear list.
